Jason & Allison: Maternity Pics

In case you haven't noticed, our friends/family are poppin' out babies right and left! Jason and Allison are due in April, and this little boy will be our second nephew! Naturally, Mike and I were super excited to take their maternity pics and we couldn't have asked for a better location and lighting. Welcome to the Stehly ranch... 300 acres of Valley Center farmland!

and, of course, what kind of a jason-and-allison-photo-shoot would it be if we didn't catch a few silly ones???

i reckon this baby gon' grow up right, yessir!

Jessica & Matt: Maternity Pics

We ventured into the studio for some classic maternity shots with Jessica and Matt. I really love the dramatic lighting, and Jessica is just beautiful!

Little Estella made her debut on March 5. Congratulations, guys!

Kari & Benjamin

Kari and Benjamin got married in January and we felt honored to be a part of their day. Everyone was so kind and welcoming - we felt like we were good friends by the end of the evening despite the fact that we met them that very same day!

It was a beautiful, small, and intimate wedding with their closest friends and family. There were cute kids galore, including their own sweet daughter Kylie. The ceremony was at the San Diego Botanical Gardens (formerly Quail Botanical Gardens), and the reception was at a fantastic little restaurant called Vigilucci's on Hwy 1 in Leucadia.

Please enjoy some of my favorite images!

Been a while...

So, really quick...

We've got some new things we're working on. We shot a wedding a few weeks ago, wow, that was fun. It was super small, around 30 people or so, but it was great! So that's coming soon. We also had the chance to take some picture of some friends in the studio before they have their baby! Loads of fun, lots to do. Here are, however some pictures from Whitney and Keith's wedding (Keith is doing much much better by the way)

PS.
I'm still trying to figure out which layout works best for pics. Bear (rawr) with me.

Prayer Needed

This morning a co-worker's husband, Keith, was in a very serious car accident. I don't know all the details but I heard today he was hospitalized with a fractured pelvis and skull. Last I heard, he was not conscious but was responding to touch, and they were awaiting a CT scan.

We were honored to take their engagement and wedding photos this past summer - above is one of my favorite shots of them. Please keep Keith and his new wife Whitney in your prayers!

Katie and Tony (Our First Wedding!)

Mike and I were so excited to be able to shoot two weddings this summer (just trying to get our feet wet and find out if it's something we'd like to do). The first was Katie and Tony, who got married at Pala Casino in the end of July.

Katie looked amazing, as you can see, and Tony was lookin' pretty good too in his fancy dress blues! They were such a sweet couple and we were honored to be a part of their day. Please enjoy a few of my favorite shots!

These are Katie's grandmother's pearls:

Getting dressed!

The bridal silhouette:

Saying their vows:

Just got hitched! The leis are from the Hawaiian lei ceremony they did... (Tony is stationed in Hawaii).

A casual bridal party shot:

My favorite couple shot:

Probably my favorite shot of the whole night! This is Katie's grandpa who is very important to her, but was unable to come to the wedding.

Their cake was AWESOME:

And we all were finally relaxed once the party got underway!

Thanks Katie and Tony so much for trusting us to do your pictures! We had a blast!

Stay tuned for wedding #2... currently still being edited.
